XR Urban Future:
Re-Imagine
2024-2025Urban Design and VR prototype
XR Urban Future: Re-Imgaine is a speculative redesign of Thomas Greene Park in Gowanus, NY, in partnership with the New York City
Department of Parks and Recreation, envisioning an accessible and interactive green space for local residents. It is a group project focusing on transforming Thomas Greene Park into a space that
serves the local residents of the community while remaining accessible to all visitors.
The park and its accompanying building aim to provide a valuable green oasis in the urban
environment, creating an outdoor space where children in the community can enjoy a healthy
and joyful childhood. Our concept of "park as service" reimagines a park not just
as a static recreational space but as a dynamic entity that actively
serves the community's needs.
I led the concept design, was solely responsible for VR development in Unity, and contributed to site research, and architecture design as part of the group urban architecture project involving site analysis, park redesign, 3D modeling in Rhino, rendering in C4D, and immersive experience creation in Unity.
